There's power in one Knowledge is a gun Don't waste your life A slave to fright Believe in yourself Embrace the dark Consumed in your mind Don't follow the blind All Hail The Dark Confront your inner fears All Hail The Dark No more blood no more tears You'll know the truth It'll come to you No longer a slave To the god man made Set free your mind Open your eyes There's more to learn Your soul it yearns

Tyrants 03:12
We're all slaves In a slave new world The rich get rich While the poor stay poor Blind lead the blind Hate conquers thought We're just a number In a sad new world Silence our speech Betray our trust Get on your knees Our Nation's bought Tyrants of the new world Tyrants the final blow Tyrants of the new world Tyrants the blood will flow Retribution for the weak It's not for them Just you and me Devastation by their hands Erasing history with the stroke Of a pen

about

All Hail The Dark!! Embracing the darkness with Jack Sabolich of Dead Earth.

"I wanted to strike a nerve with people around the globe when I wrote the lyrics to the 3 songs on the new All Hail The Dark ep" says singer/lyricist Jack Sabolich of the Cleveland, Ohio Heavy Metal band Dead Earth. " I wrote the lyrics to All Hail the Dark while thinking of a trip my wife and I took to Salem, Massachusetts the very first of many trips we have taken there. I remember her asking me on our drive to Salem, what we were going to do about our families wanting us to have our newborn daughter christened into the Catholic Church? I told my wife  that I was ALWAYS drawn to the darker side of spirituality, and that I was really drawn to Witchcraft. We took that trip because we both wanted to learn as much as we could about the Craft in Salem because we were both drawn to it. It was a life altering experience for us, and we dove head first into learning as much as we could about Witchcraft. I learned how beautiful Witchcraft is, and how certain religions have defiled the beauty of it and turned it into a forbidden thing in order to gain power and control. I have also learned to embrace the dark and to not fear it. The intro to the song was from the movie Horror Hotel or City of the Dead and it's one of my favorite horror movies about a witch who put a curse on the fictional town of Whitewood, Massachusetts for trying to burn her at the stake for practicing Witchcraft. A dig at the part Hollywood plays at downplaying such a beautiful belief system".

"Tyrants brought me back to 2020 and the Coronavirus Pandemic. I wrote the lyrics while the band was on a small hiatus, and all I had as an outlet was my steel mill job and no music. We were considered an essential business here in the States and I just remembered hearing stories and experiencing how rotten many essential workers were treated by management and the general public. I felt like I was just a number and not a human being at all, that my life was just for profit and nothing else. I know many people around the world feel this way a lot, and I believe this song may connect with many many people around the world. I wrote it as an anthem for the real people in the world who are more than just a number."

Nuclear Winter came to mind when I was out shopping for vinyl records and I came across two classic Nuclear Assault albums I had to buy. The riff was in my head and the band name Nuclear Assault made me envision the horror of a Nuclear Winter and what would happen after a nuclear blast. Scary, especially when you have children. These are my stories, and I am sticking to them. Embrace the dark and stay Heavy my friends."

This powerful, explosive new 3 song ep All Hail The Dark features the new and much improved Dead Earth lineup of Jack Sabolich/vocals, Joe DeFrank/guitars, Mark Hardy/lead guitars, Jeff Ready/bass, and Matt Kollar/drums. Both Matt and Jeff played in the band Sappy Bell who toured on the Vans Warped Tour twice. Dead Earth will be playing shows this summer in support of the ep, they will also continue writing songs for the upcoming full length, slated for a 2022 release.
